3D Art/Costuming

While illustration and design are my passions, fibers is more of a hobby for me. It serves as yet another way to express myself in the arts, but it allows me to think differntly. Most of the reason why I have continued in costuming is because I love to solve the three dimentional challenges they present.

My love for fibers started when I was very young; I used to literally hot glue felt dolls from cartoons I watched. After Disney's Cinderella came out, I wanted to learn how to sew, yes, like the mice did. From there I took off and kept sewing my little creations. It wasn't until I was in my teens that I learned how to use a sewing machine. Although I can't remember my first creation on a sewing machine, it was the drive to make plush dolls that lead me to use it frequently. From there I decided that I should start making costumes from video games and anime, and finally fashions of my own design.
