Worn at Anime Expo 2002
Beramode was definitely one of the
characters that drew me into the world of WoG.
His story line is as complex as they come, which
I enjoy. I knew from the start that I wanted to
attempt to make his outfit and, somehow, cosplay
his character. One of the toughest parts, in which
I ultimately failed at, was his very intricate
designs on the leg of his pants and the back of
his 'shirt'. Also, the die cut of the fabric wasn't
a walk in the park either.
Although I love the costume design
and think it should be cosplayed more often, I
don't feel as though I was a successful Beramode.
I would like to see a guy pull it off well, to
tell you the truth.
And, so you aren't confused by the
images below, two people are wearing the Beramode
costume. The first is myself, for purposes of
modeling the wig, and the second is a good friend
of mine who actually wore it to Otakon 2003.
